Rad Power Bikes error 25: Brake switch fault

Can I ride home with this error?
Stop riding. Do not ride with assist until the brake cut-off works; make sure the mechanical brakes work before moving.
What it means
The motor cut-off switch in a brake lever is signalling all the time. Most often a brake lever was held while turning the bike on.
Likely causes
- Brake lever squeezed while switching on
- Faulty brake sensor or connector
- Faulty taillight connector (Rad's guide lists these to check)
Symptoms
- Error 25 on the display
- LED display: pedal assist levels 0 and 2 flash
- No motor assist
How to fix it
- Release both brake levers and turn the bike off and on again.
- Check both brakes stop the bike properly by hand.
- If it stays, follow Rad's guide to unplug and test each brake sensor connector one at a time, with assist set to 0.
- If the error persists, contact Rad Power Bikes support.
