Generic displays error 05_info: Axle speed sensor fault (torque sensor bikes)

What it means

Only on bikes with a torque sensor: the speed signal from the bottom bracket sensor is not correct.

Likely causes

• Loose connector
• Faulty torque sensor

Symptoms

• 05 info flashes
• No pedal assist

How to fix it

1. Check the torque sensor connector.
2. Switch the bike off, wait 10 seconds and switch it on again.
3. If the code stays, take the bike to your dealer or an e-bike repair shop.
