Yamaha error 13: Display not compatible with drive unit

What it means

The display is not compatible with the drive unit it is connected to. Assist works normally and the code is not stored.

Likely causes

• Display swapped from another bike or system

Symptoms

• 'DU-METER INCOMPATIBLE' message

How to fix it

1. Use the display that came with the bike.
2. Ask a Yamaha dealer to confirm the drive unit and display combination.
