What it means
The display has lost communication with the drive unit. Assist carries on normally and the code is not stored.
Likely causes
- Loose display connector
- Damaged display cable
Symptoms
- 'METER CHK CONN' message
- Display data may be missing
How to fix it
- Turn the power off and on.
- If you can see the display plug, check it is pushed fully home.
- If it continues, have a Yamaha dealer check the display, cable or controller.
