VanMoof error 21: Charger cable not recognised

What it means

Error 21 means the bike does not recognise the charger cable. The code shows on the bike's matrix display.

How to fix it

1. Unplug the charger cable and plug it back in firmly.
2. Make sure the bike has the latest firmware (VanMoof app).
3. Reset the bike.
4. Do a system restart (see VanMoof's 'How to System Restart' guide).
5. If the error stays, take the bike to a VanMoof Partner for diagnosis and repair.

Re-seat the charger cable.
