What it means
Assist LED 3 blinking with the red error light means the system is not getting a correct speed signal.
Likely causes
- Wheel magnet moved or missing
- Sensor knocked or cable damaged

How to fix it
- Check the wheel magnet is in place and lines up with the sensor.
- Switch the system off.
- Look for an obvious cause, such as a battery not fully clicked in.
- Fix it only if you can do so safely, then switch the system back on.
- If it is fixed, carry on and book a service check with a Giant dealer.
- If the issue keeps returning, stop riding and contact an authorised Giant dealer.
