ASSIST-MODES: Customise riding modes (eBike Flow app)
Adjust the riding modes your dealer/maker enabled, in the eBike Flow app.
What it does
On the Smart System you can fine-tune each enabled mode in eBike Flow: assistance, drive response, top assist speed and maximum torque, all within legal and drive limits. You cannot create new modes, and eMTB and TOUR+ cannot be adjusted.
Typical values
- Assistance (relative to the mode's base value)
- Drive response
- Top assist speed (within legal limits)
- Maximum torque (within drive limits)
Before you change it
- EU/UK/AU/NZ pedelecs are limited to 25 km/h assistance and 250 W; US classes are limited to 20 mph (Class 1/2) or 28 mph (Class 3). Raising limits can make the bike illegal on roads and void warranty and insurance.
- The settings affect each other; for example you cannot set low torque with high assistance.
- Some modes cannot be changed in some countries.
