Lectric eBikes error E007: Motor fault

What it means

The controller has detected a motor fault, most often a poor connection at the motor quick plug or at the controller.

Likely causes

• Motor quick plug loose or not fully inserted
• Loose or damaged wire at the controller

Symptoms

• E007 on the display
• No motor assist

How to fix it

1. Turn the bike off.
2. Find the motor cable near the rear axle (right side). Pull the quick plug straight apart, check the pins, line up the arrows and push fully together.
3. Test the bike.
4. If it continues, contact Lectric support (their guide also shows checking controller wires, which needs the controller cover opened).

Check the motor plug before riding with assist.
