Ride with caution. You can pedal without assistance; if the battery feels very hot, smells or swells, stop and move it away from anything flammable.
What it means
The eBike battery is outside its allowed temperature range.
Likely causes
- Battery too hot (sun, heavy use)
- Battery too cold
Symptoms
- Code 605 on the display
- Assistance or charging stops
How to fix it
- Switch the eBike system off.
- Let the battery cool down or warm up to normal room temperature. Do not heat it with a heater or put it in a fridge.
- Switch the eBike system off, wait a few seconds, then switch it on again.
- If the code comes back, contact your Bosch eBike dealer.

Let the battery reach normal temperature before riding or charging.
