What it means
The system cannot read the battery temperature, so it may stop assist to stay safe.
Likely causes
- Battery not connected properly
- Faulty battery sensor
Symptoms
- Code 13 shows
- No assist
How to fix it
- Switch off and check the battery is seated and its connectors are clean and dry.
- Switch the bike off, wait 10 seconds and switch it on again.
- Never open the battery.
- If the code stays, take the bike to your dealer; the battery may need replacing.
